The Sword Catcher is the current working title of the first installment of the Sword Catcher series. It is set to be released in Spring 2021.[1][2][3]

- The beginning will center on the beginnings of Kellian as the Sword Catcher. Kellian is kidnapped from his and taken to the palace, where he was forced to become the human target stand-in for the crown prince at public events.[2][3] Kellian's time with the cruel prince, and eventually with his friends, will be explored.[3][2][4]
Trivia
- The book, according to the author, was inspired by a story she read years ago about "an Iraqi man forced to give up his life to serve as the body double for one of Saddam Hussein’s sons."[4]
